I am very excited to get this project off the starting block and am thrilled you are coming along for the ride too!!! You will find in this INTRODUCTION TO WORLD CHOW area, a lot of helpful instruction as to how the Forum is navigated. If you have never used a forum before..just experment with all the buttons to click on and learn from trying. Don't forget those fun emoticons (smilies) to brighten up your posts
If you post in the wrong place or need to delete something just email or PM me and I can change ANYTHING! Don't let all the HTML options confuse you either. They are just that..options.
For a basic text post, simply type in the text field, hit SUBMIT..and you are done!
On that note, there are couple of very important points I need to make before we get started in order to assure this project will be starting off on the right "paw"....so here goes:
In light of some of the potentially controversial subjects that we may be discussing on the forums regarding breeding, health issues, differneces from country to country etc. ,the owner/moderater/Alpha Bitch, reserves the right at any time to discontinue a discussion or lock a topic if the conversation becomes unproductive because of a public forum conflict between members that cannot be resolved in private.
Individual opinions are usually considered productive interaction. Lack of respect towards any member of the forum because of difference of opinion will not be tolerated in any way shape or form...thats when Alpha Bitch gives a good scruff shaking!! I am as loyal and protective of my WORLD CHOW members as my Chows are to me! GRIN!!
I want you all to feel free to express your thoughts about our Chows without reservation as long as my one rule is not broken.
RESPECT FOR YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS..
Networking is only possible if we can speak openly and intelligently . The goal of these forums is to promote, improve and interact regarding the Chow breed in a healthy and positive environment.
There will always be strong opinions and that is a fantastic thing. We will help our breed when we can communicate in a professional and open minded manner. Where there is negativity, we all lose out on the opportunity for enlightment or improvement.... including those same opportunities for our Chows.
